Name

reboot — Reboots the chassis. This is a General command that can be accessed by the admin role.

Syntax

reboot [force | asic] [-v]

Options

No option

Performs a BMC reboot. This is non-disruptive if the ASIC is running.

force

Forces a reboot of the BMC and ASIC (disruptive).

asic

Reboots the ASICs.

-v

Displays the verbose log of reboot steps.

Examples

reboot
reboot force
reboot asic
reboot -v

Notes

  • If rebooting the local device from SSH or another method, you must reconnect after rebooting.
