Name

hardware — Provides an overview of hardware components on the board. Specify a component to get more detail on that component. This is a Hardware command that can be accessed by all user roles.

Syntax

hardware [monitor [-v] | asic [-v] | check [-v] | led [-v] | cable [<PORT_NAME>] | fru | inventory]

Options

monitor

Displays a status overview of the hardware components on the board. This is the default.

asic

Displays the ASIC status.

check

Checks hardware components for faults.

led

Displays information about the switch LEDs.

cable

Displays information about a specified cable or all cables, including Cable Type, Vendor Name, Cable Length, Part Number Revision, Serial Number, Supported Speed (25G or 100G) and Temperature (°C).

fru

Displays information from the EEPROM about the board, chassis, and product.

inventory

Displays an inventory of power supplies and fan trays.

<PORT_NAME>

Specifies which port to display its cable information.

-v, --verbose

Displays further details.
