On certain platforms, the latency-performance tuned profile has been shown to improve and stabilize peak bandwidth, especially for microbenchmarks. Note that this profile increases power usage of the system. System administrators may choose to dynamically integrate tuned profile changes with job schedulers such that a lower power profile is used while nodes are idle.
