6.9.1. Prerequisites

  • CN5000 SuperNIC installed and detected

    lspci | grep -i 'Cornelis Networks CN5000 HFI Silicon'

  • libfabric with the OPX Provider installed (typically /usr/lib64, as installed by OPX Software)

  • gcc toolchain (autoconf/automake/libtool for the SOS autogen.sh step)

  • git (to fetch the SOS modules/tests-sos submodule)

  • Passwordless SSH between the nodes participating in the run

  • Source tarballs:

    • hydra-<version>.tar.gz (standalone Hydra process manager, for example, hydra-5.0.1.tar.gz, from MPICH Downloads)

    • SOS/OpenSHMEM implementation from SOS (GitHub)

    • SOS tests from V1.5.3 (zip file)

    • osu-micro-benchmarks-<version>.tar.gz (for example, osu-micro-benchmarks-7.5.2.tar.gz)

Note

OpenSHMEM performance testing over CN5000 uses the opx (and optionally, tcp) OFI providers; the same libfabric used by MPI.
